Jussi L A great live album from a Melburnian band. Been listening to it for a while and the more I listen the more I like it. Influenced by the 70's jazz prog but at the same time SKDM is unique enough to be interesting. The tracks do establish a characteristic sound so that band appears to have a clear identity without being mannerish. Highly recommended. Favorite track: Magellan's Cloud (Live @ the Jago Centre).

My loves The Shack is always open We're keepin' it blazing from sun- up to the sundown And we are all but patrons Spirit Inside the walls, you feel it A bit of an honesty policy is needed, 'Cause she won't talk! Misfits Inhabit the streets out the back We're certainly putting the sugar in the Shack They're not gonna steal it And if you Decide to come and visit Be sure to remember your marbles 'cause you'll miss them It's time to change! Welcome to our illusion Take off your shoes and get undressed Sit and begin to listen As you slowly become obsessed My darlings, oh you can find me At the centre of the colour and mess Halting, and yet revolting I hope you find your little stay a success Be sure to intrigue and impress...

I feel sick from motion My body is a ghost I am jelly on a rollercoaster When I get distracted My head is wet, my back bends At an abnormal angle But when I think of the gold At the end of the rainbow I'm lookin' at I can't stand up straight That doesn't happen That muchly, I'm often As shaky as a potted plant Ooh, I'm hanging on to sanity Sure, I'm rickety, shaky knees God is not the answer 'Cause he just sings and dances On all of my little problems now Sweat is getting sweaty My shivers, I am ready For anything; JOINT LOCK! I'm falling down to the ground It's cold, the children grow old I still cannot use my legs This the final chapter Acceptance is the answer Just throw me in the trapdoor! Ooh, I'll sell my soul, come with me Sure, I'm rickety, shaky knees

Pickin' a side, on a side, this is my favourite one Pickin' a side, I'll play it 'til my ears are done Pickin' a side, on a side, there's not a better one Spin 'til the gravity crushes my drums Record spinnin' round the coffee table Vibrations are the nectar of my hears Map the highs and lows, the waves are frequent I cannot figure out the combination! Pickin' a side, on a side, this is my favourite one Pickin' a side, I'll play it 'til my ears are done Pickin' a side, on a side, there's not a better one Spin 'til the gravity crushes my drums Vinyl is the canvas of the planet Wicker in the basket of my dear Forgotten melodies can be discovered Just come into the land of exploration If you listen, the man is in the rhythm Listen in hard, he's living underneath your skin He's not bad, he plays the tune, you're listening... Pickin' a side, on a side, this is my favourite one Pickin' a side, I'll play it 'til my ears are done Pickin' a side, on a side, there's not a better one Spin 'til the gravity crushes my drums Honey, sugar and lime Aromatic, tasting like the finest of wines Honey, and cyanide Acid lips with a penchant for rhetorical shit Oh, why? Honey, her greatest fear Failure assails her, remember it's all between her ears Honey, clove and spice She said it's wet, why don't you come get dry over here? Well, what are you waiting for?

It's a matter of the matter here Of the latter, it's not so convoluted but Lots of chatter in nature 'bout A kind of opposite end of funky energy In Magellan's Cloud In Magellan's! If you were to pull, I'll be here to push you back For all that was Will return to that It's a matter of the matter here Of the latter, it's not so convoluted but Lots of chatter in nature 'bout A kind of opposite end of funky energy In Magellan's Cloud In Magellan's! If you were to pull, I'll be here to push you back For all that was Will return to that It's a matter of the matter here Of the latter, it's not so convoluted but Lots of chatter in nature 'bout A kind of opposite end of funky energy And across the ocean, you know You can see it in the waves that break And across the plains, wise men With no names are slave to the ground that shakes And up high in the purple sky You can see it in the eagle's flight

Spent my dough on eggs and toast I'm broken in the money department Banks are rippin' off my friends I knew it, I knew they blew it, I knew it People drive their quick cars In the the right lane, and they blame the cocaine But they can't see past their giant mortgage Oh the boredom, it's got 'em! Pretty dental plan on the overhead Quit my second job, now I'm probably dead Can't afford food for my friend's cat I'm patching up my clothes like a gypsy, man Try to save a dollar wherever I can But the people always say... It's only money! Young and limber, cold in winter I don't care, I'm happy in a jumper Basic comforts aren't my focus Wait, I got no money for a jumper! Rich men, fat lines Feasting on the good times, acid wealth is fine Leave me with the homeless guys At least they know how to have a good time! Pretty dental plan on the overhead Quit my second job, now I'm probably dead Can't afford food for my friend's cat I'm patching up my clothes like a gypsy, man Try to save a dollar wherever I can But the people always say... That deep and aged Shiraz is your mama's milk Try to mow a lawn when you're wrapped in silk I don't think you can Eat a gourmet pizza on a Friday night Caviar and lobster every other night BUT THE FISH ARE DEAD... It's only money! Worst in my existence is A longing for a higher kind of purpose Stuck in limbo, feelin' weird Your metal is feeling worthless in my coinpurse Workin' tired dusty bones Are grown, thrown and shown a new home Dickens nailed it and they hate it, Fuck it, you know I do it 'cause I love it! Pretty dental plan on the overhead Quit my second job, now I'm probably dead Can't afford food for my friend's cat I'm patching up my clothes like a gypsy, man Try to save a dollar wherever I can But the people always say... That deep and aged Shiraz is your mama's milk Try to mow a lawn when you're wrapped in silk I don't think you can Eat a gourmet pizza on a Friday night Caviar and lobster every other night BUT THE FISH ARE DEAD!
